Junior Game Programmer – Fresher | IIT/NIT Graduates

Role Overview We are looking for Junior Game Programmers to join our engineering team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who have a strong foundation in C++, Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming and problem-solving and who are interested in starting their career in game development. You will work alongside experienced engineers and other game development teams to build and improve gameplay systems and technical features for our upcoming gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain game features using C++Work on gameplay systems and core programming tasksApply Data Structures and Algorithms to solve technical problemsWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable codeDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issuesCollaborate with game designers, artists and other engineering teamsUnderstand and contribute to existing game systems and codebasesLearn and work with game development tools and technologiesParticipate in code reviews and follow engineering best practicesContribute to building and improving our E-Cricket gaming experience Required Qualifications Recent graduate from an IIT or NITB.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related branches0–1 year of experience or freshersMinimum 8.0 CGPAStrong programming fundamentals in C++Good understanding of Data Structures & AlgorithmsStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Good analytical and logical problem-solving skillsNo active or previous academic backlogsNo gap in educationPassion for gaming and technologyWillingness to work full-time from our Bangalore officeStrong learning mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Experience with Unreal Engine is preferredFamiliarity with Unreal Engine and game development conceptsPersonal or academic projects involving C++Knowledge of game development conceptsFamiliarity with other game engines such as UnityParticipation in coding competitions, hackathons or technical projectsUnderstanding of software development and debugging practicesStrong interest in building games and interactive experiences Eligibility Note Please apply only if you meet all the specified criteria; candidates with higher qualifications or different educational backgrounds/branches are not eligible for this position.
